This chapter marks the start of THE NEW CHIEFTAINS. Curating this collection of Chieftains took place at a time when the notion of chapters had not yet been formed.

I was repeatedly being presented with these special individuals and was reacting instinctively, driven by my desire to capture and preserve the character of the growing tribe. These meetings happened swiftly, one after the other, and it felt as though connecting with this inspiring group of people was fated. I’m driven by a fascination for human motivation, what keeps us moving forward, and the way certain individuals deploy innate skills we all share to achieve extraordinary things.
